A Case Report of Korean Medicine Treatment of a Lung Cancer Patient with Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy

The purpose of this study is to report the effect Korean medicine on a squamous cell lung cancer patient with chemotherapy induction peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). A 61-year old male patient, who had received 4 cycles after surgery from cancer, was treated acupuncture and herbal medicines, including Uchasingi-hwan Samchilchoongcho-capsule, control CIPN dyspnea exertion. degree pain assessed by numeric rating scale (NRS). After receiving NRS score for symptoms reduced 1 exertion decreased 3 less than 1. could therefore be useful in reducing occurring lobectomy.
